Because publishers can omit pages in electronic versions (and not tell the buyer), and because they’re hard to reference. But the BIG reason I’m against them is because they charge far too much for an electronic edition. They save on all costs: printing, shipping, updating, etc., and still charge the consumer a boatload. All they have to do is sit back and collect the money – - for nothing. [/citar]
